2006: Pick Up Sticks
We just couldn’t stop expanding and moved yet again, this time within the same massive building to a fancy corner loft with lots of windows and a cross breeze you wouldn’t believe. Raquel Castillo joins as the Assets Manager to help manage the bustling family, bringing organization internally and a friendly voice externally. Clint May is hired after Phil sees him designing logos on the side of the street for cash and takes pity on him…turns out to be an okay move.
The move to a full-service branding shop continues unabated with the addition of much larger clients needing more comprehensive services. Working an average of 90-120 hours a week, Phil still finds time to take kung fu lessons down the hall. Combined with the addition of rum to his fruit smoothies, he quickly masters the “Drunken Style.”
